The Borneo Project aims to provide as much support as possible for our partners in the ways that will be of the most use to them. Here is a small sample of ways that we have supported partners in the past, and which we can easily do again. If you work with a Borneo-based NGO and think any of these resources would be useful to you, please email project director Brihannala Morgan at brihannala@borneoproject.org.
Small Grants: The Borneo Project is able to work with NGOs and communities in Borneo to provide small grants to help support local initiatives and campaigns. In the past, we have provided support for microhydro projects, pepper and vegetable gardens reforestation, territory demarcation, legal libraries, and watershed mapping, among many other things.
Online Advocacy: If you are interested in targeting a decision maker or a company and believe that it would help to have an international audience send them emails or make calls, we can reach out to our international network to make this happen!
Sign On Letters/International Solidarity: We are able to circulate letters of support to our network of partners and supports to help bring international attention to you issues.
